Previous reports
Below are the previous editions of the ADII report and the special Queensland ADII report published in 2017.
Please note, from 2021 onwards, the ADII is based on data derived from the Australian Internet Usage Survey. As such, 2021 and 2022 indicators are not comparable with pre-2021 Index results. To conduct time-series analysis on 2016-2020 reports, readers should not compare data from each of the published ADII reports, but consult the revised historical data presented against the 2020 report.
ADII time series data presented in the ADII report for each year up to and including 2020 has been derived from the Roy Morgan Single Source dataset. This data could differ slightly each year as the dataset was subject to slight weighting changes. In addition, minor refinements to some of the components and sub-components underlying the ADII were applied to the time series data released with each report.

Discussion papers
The creation of the Index in 2015 began with a discussion paper that set out the approach to developing the Index, its objectives, and key themes. The paper was designed to encourage potential users of the ADII to provide feedback and suggestions to guide the development of the Index and make it as robust and useful as possible.
Our approach to revising the Index, commencing in 2019, began with a consultation paper and series of roundtable discussions with key stakeholders. Stakeholder feedback and our responses are detailed in the below documents.

Technical reports
Technical reports, produced by the Social Research Centre, provide additional detail on the methodology underpinning the Australian Digital Inclusion Index. Note: the 2020 technical report discusses the 2020 data on the dashboard, which is different to the data reported on in the 2020 ADII report.
